Celgene Associate Product Manager Inflammation & Immunology in Bavaria, Germany


Under the direction of the Marketing Director I&I, this individual is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of marketing and educational programs in the therapeutic field of I&I. He/she supports the development of brand plans, respective product strategies, and tactical implementation plans.

In addition, he/she builds and maintains close relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and opinion leaders in the market.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Member of Affiliate Brand Team, supports shaping of product strategy, and to maximize EU synergies as well as exchange of best practices

  2. Analyzes and assimilates extensive market data/intelligence and incorporates the findings into the I&I brand planning process and tactics

  3. Keeps up to date with all new information/data for the I&I brand(s) and utilizes the information to provide competitive advantages for our brand(s)

  4. Supports the development of marketing materials and ensures timely approval of materials in accordance with regulatory requirements

  5. Designs and executes promotional activities in line with the EU branding and EU key messages

  6. Supports effective role out of marketing campaigns to the field team through cycle briefing meetings & training sessions

  7. Constantly seeks feedback and inspires the sales force, is perceived as being a passionate and persuasive brand champion

  8. Tracks implementation and success; develops rapid corrective activities if needed


  • Strong identification with Celgene‚Äôs values

  • Business or Natural science degree required

  • Professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in marketing, experience in the field of I&I preferred

  • Successful track record within the pharmaceutical industry, experience in sales preferred

  • High scientific profile with the ability to simplify new and complex clinical data

  • I&I market experience expected, focus on our indications preferred

  • PC literate in Microsoft Office

  • Team worker

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required

  • Fluency in German and English, both oral and written communications

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Ability to work with all levels of personnel and establish positive working relationships, in particular with the sales team

  • Independent self-starter, accurate and well organized

  • Highly energetic, self reliant, able to successfully drive performance and deliver results with various parties in a timely and efficient manner with organized project management skills

  • Strong business acumen and open minded
