Summary

The main objective of the Associate Manager is to support the Partner Markets Region, the Finance Director and the Partner Markets Account Director, in the Quarterly Latest Estimate submission process, Opex tracking, data and management reporting. This in close collaboration with the distributors’ finance/logistics department across the region.

Main responsibilities

Quarterly forecast, 3YOP and Long Range Planning

  • Communicate process, guidance, timelines and deliverables

  • Set up calls with stakeholders to review and align on the submission including assumptions and risk & opportunities

  • Collect submissions and enter data in Hyperion

  • Retrieve and analyze latest estimate

  • Prepare quarterly slide deck

Partner relationship

  • Liaise with partner’s finance/logistics team in regards to periodic reports (as per contract), order management

  • Support on ad-hoc analysis such as performance scheme, new product planning …

  • Perform periodic reconciliation on sales, inventory and opex

Budget/Opex tracking

  • Work closely with Shared Service Center (SSC) to ensure complete and accurate accounting/ensure that all relevant documents and information are sent in time to the SSC (invoices, approved expense reports, accrual calculations)

  • Ensure processes and bookings are compliant with internal guidance, SOPs and local legislations

  • Support the PM HQ P&L management

Management Reporting

Monthly and quarterly management report to be communicated internally including :

  • Sales actuals versus quarterly LE

  • Opex actuals versus quarterly LE

  • Full P&Ls

  • Support in preparing presentations for Sr. Management

Tender process management

  • Set up clear process with partners and team with the following objectives

  • Full year tender submission plan and forecast

  • Tenders conditions

  • Coordinate price approval & supply

  • Support team with any material, samples, documentation needed

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Eager to learn

  • Strong knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements and understanding of Turkish market.

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to identify existing or potential deficiencies in operating processes or procedures, recommend solutions, and proactively seek continuous economic and operating efficiencies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.

  • Proficiency with MS Office tools. Skilled in working with complex spreadsheets and databases.

  • Affinity with systems (Oracle/Hyperion/ERP).

  • Fluency in English. Turkish is a plus.

  • Can work independently and with limited supervision.

  • Strong identification with Celgene's values.
