Accounts Payable Specialist
Accounts Payable Manager - International
Financial Operations (Procure to Pay)
Overview of Role:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will work in the Financial Operations department, in the Accounts Payable team. This individual will also have appropriate knowledge of the financial systems we use, which include several tools (Basware, Oracle, TRAX…)
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Process vendor invoices through the different tools.
Control of documents and processes in line with Celgene policies and procedures.
Obtain missing information from Celgene affiliates in Europe and Asia when required for the processing of invoices.
Control suppliers’ banking details and request corrections when necessary.
Execution of electronic or manual payments to third parties.
Follow upon prepayments and credit notes.
Assist other finance colleagues with any ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary.
Contribute to process improvements and technology initiatives.
Associate degree in Finance / Accounting or related work experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative, customer service or finance position involving data processing (information input, correction…)
Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
A working knowledge of an ERP or accounting software (Oracle, SAP, Sage…)
Fluent in French and good working knowledge in English
High degree of organizational agility.
Commitment to delivering quality results in a time-sensitive environment.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
High degree of integrity and strong work ethic.
Positive attitude with proven ability to handle challenges and overcome obstacles.
