Under the direction of the Business Planning & Analysis Manager, we are seeking an experienced business finance person with broad perspective, strategic mindset and high energy. You will proactively influence and challenge business leaders on key business decisions and advocate facts/data driven decision-making practice. You will provide in-depth financial analysis, bring actionable insights and advise business leaders as finance business partner. You will support business model innovation as a strategic-thinking advisor and contribute to define the direction for new businesses, processes, standards and operational plans.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct financial planning activities, including monthly forecast, Budget (BU), Latest Estimate (LE), Long Range Plan (LRP)

  • Provide in-deep variance analysis, trend analysis and benchmark analysis to business units and ensure understanding of business financial performance within management and commercial teams

  • Liaise with Market Research bringing insight on business drivers, dynamics and impacts, identify opportunities, challenges and issues and communicate with the management

  • Participate in the planning and preparation of the future portfolio ensuring consistent and realistic LRP assumptions concerning the Celgene portfolio, external environment and benchmarking

  • Participate in the Late Life Cycle Management planning and preparation (Loss of exclusivity)

  • Provide OPEX analysis on actual performance vs approved budget plans and oversee total business expense progression to manage cost on budget or desired target

  • Coordinate and develop Customer Relationship Management reviewing the investment allocation is according to the company strategy and streamlining areas to maximise potential profit

  • Advise on business improvement opportunities and follow up with initiative implementation through key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Support EMEA regional initiatives on operation continuous-improvement and business partnering

  • Compliance with Quality and Environment Policies

  • Acting according the Manual of Good Environmental Practices and segregate waste materials of the job properly

Skills/Knowledge Required:

Educational Background and Complementary Knowledge

  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in finance departments, with at least 3-4 years working as Business Controller/ Sales Controller/ FP&A in an important multinational company

  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in the Pharma sector

  • Significant proven track record of strong experience in financial analysis

  • Proven track record of experience in providing financial partnership to the business

  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge

  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools. Financial planning and reporting

  • Strong analytical skill

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skill

  • Broad perspective and business acumen

  • Experience working with SAP is nice to have, but it is not a must.

  • High English level is a must
