Under the direction of the Associate Director Market Access, this individual will be responsible for:

  • Project leadership of AMNOG process including preparation of early advice meetings with HTA and regulatory bodies, local advice meetings with GBA, project management, development and timely submission of value dossiers

  • Preparation of and participation at price negotiations with sickness funds

  • Provision of process and execution expertise in health economic and reimbursement activities to our relevant product(s) in Germany (Hematology/Oncology/I&I)

  • Extracting, analyzing and working up of information about evolvement and execution practice of the German Health Care System (esp. AMNOG)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Preparation and participation in G-BA (early) advice meetings

  2. Coordination and creation of local value dossiers in line with current legislation

  3. Preparation of oral hearings and written statements

  4. Coordination and support of pricing negotiations with payer authorities and ensure optimal outcomes

  5. Review and evaluation of evidence including identification and closure of gaps

  6. Project management and collaboration with agencies

  7. Execution of Market Access support in line with the marketing strategies of all products and understands the importance of reimbursement for business success

  8. Monitoring and evaluation of IQWiG and G-BA evaluation results of new drugs and develop strategic proposals and transfer recommendations to the clinical development plan

  9. Maintaining / establishing a "Reimbursement Network" within the opinion leaders, policy makers and other stakeholders which are relevant for Celgene products in Germany

  10. Responsibility for compliance with budgets and deadlines

  11. Co-operation and support of other departments regarding the development of communication strategies for products assessed

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Strong identification with Celgene’s values

  • University degree - preferably in the area of health management

  • Education and training in the field of project management

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience / knowledge of the German health care system

  • Good knowledge of English

  • Secure Communication

  • Enjoyment of team and project work

  • Positive attitude, solution-oriented approach, a high degree of initiative

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, sbsolutely safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel

  • Goal-oriented working methods
