Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support of the Drug Safety Specialist upon receipt and tracking of adverse events - this includes translations (German / English)
Preparing written follow-up requests (questionnaires that are sent to study centers and healthcare professionals to obtain further information about reported adverse events)
Support of the Drug Safety Specialist in the maintenance of the local and external archive and the data query system
Assist in the review of local literature regarding information on adverse events associated with a Celgene Product
Support of Medical Information Specialist in the processing of medical scientific questions and preparation of responses
Literature searches using medical scientific databases
Support of Medical Information Specialist in creation of medical scientific information materials for distribution to professionals or for internal training purposes in the form of presentation slides and texts
Support of Medical Information Specialist in analysis of inquiry statistics Support in projects in cooperation with other departments like Marketing, Market Access, Quality and Key Account
Strong identification with the values of Celgene
Completed second section of the Pharmaceutical Examination
Very good knowledge of German and good English language skills in written and spoken
Good understanding of medical terminology
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

There are more than 300 clinical trials at major medical centers using compounds from Celgene.
