Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support of the Drug Safety Specialist upon receipt and tracking of adverse events - this includes translations (German / English)

  • Preparing written follow-up requests (questionnaires that are sent to study centers and healthcare professionals to obtain further information about reported adverse events)

  • Support of the Drug Safety Specialist in the maintenance of the local and external archive and the data query system

  • Assist in the review of local literature regarding information on adverse events associated with a Celgene Product

  • Support of Medical Information Specialist in the processing of medical scientific questions and preparation of responses

  • Literature searches using medical scientific databases

  • Support of Medical Information Specialist in creation of medical scientific information materials for distribution to professionals or for internal training purposes in the form of presentation slides and texts

  • Support of Medical Information Specialist in analysis of inquiry statistics Support in projects in cooperation with other departments like Marketing, Market Access, Quality and Key Account

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Strong identification with the values of Celgene

  • Completed second section of the Pharmaceutical Examination

  • Very good knowledge of German and good English language skills in written and spoken

  • Good understanding of medical terminology

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Conscientious and reliable way of working
