Celgene is a global leader in hematology, with a market-leading multiple myeloma franchise and promising future pipeline. We seek a Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) for the Central Region. This position is an extension of the HQ MM Marketing Team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional home office/ field teams to ensure aligned implementation of the brand strategy

  • Collaborate to pull-through national strategy at a regional/ local level

  • Understand emerging MM trends to drive the future national strategy- Learning Locally, Applying Nationally

  • Regional insight generation (quarterly) aligned with Regional Sales Directors and HQ Brand Team

  • Highlight local deviations from the Nation; gather input to understand the drivers of variation and synthesize the implications to the business into a Regional MM Assessment

  • Work closely with sales, market access and other relevant cross-functional experts to build a strategic understanding of regional and account level dynamics

  • Present quarterly and yearly business reviews, contributing to Brand Strategic and Tactical plans

  • Regional Planning (2x per year)

  • Translate Regional MM Assessment into prioritized opportunities aligned to National Brand Plans

  • Develop Regional Action plan- the tactical approach to address opportunities, including budget estimate and establish cross-functional accountability (excluding Medical)

  • Implementation and Enablement

  • Pull through National/ Regional Action plans and brand tactics

  • Monitor and assess impact of Regional Action Plan

  • Appropriately engaging with key stakeholders in the Hematology/Oncology customer accounts

  • Support the launch of new indication, including development and roll out of comprehensive launch plans

Qualifications/Knowledge Required:

  • 10 years of pharmaceutical industry or relevant experience

  • Must have direct people management experience with the ability lead others

  • The preferred candidate will have an oncology/hematology background with at least 6+ years of in-line experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales/market access experience

  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally

  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to think strategically, drive performance, foster relationships and build alignment via lateral leadership and influencing without authority

  • Strong project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize

  • Strong communications skills and track record of effective and influential presentations to external and internal customers

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
