Manager, Access AnalyticsSummit, NJ

The Manager, Access Analytics position’s primary function is to provide fact based and actionable insights and recommendations to enhance the strategic decision-making capability for USLT, Marketing and Sales leadership. The role is additionally responsible is to support the I&I Franchise by collaboratively interacting with the Access, Payer Marketing, Trade and any other access related teams to analyze market and business trends and provide support as needed

The individual in this role must be able to work across the breath of the franchise and synthesize discrete data sets and information sources into a cohesive and accurate assessment of market and business drivers impacting the core brand strategies. They must also be able to communicate persuasively across the franchise influencing key stakeholders relative to the impact of trends and events on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide accurate and insightful executive reporting on access related matters. The output must render a clear and concise overview of the access environment that identifies both opportunities and areas of concern. This includes KPI and scorecard development.

  • Collaborate across the access landscape to develop an effective analytical support model that enables both strategic access decisions and tactical access execution.

  • Mine insights and develop recommendations for field teams (sales, reimbursement, and trade) to improve customer targeting strategies and negotiations with key accounts.

  • Provide data support and collaborate to develop and oversee the management of the US Market Access dashboards and analytical tools/models for both home office and field teams to use on a regularly basis to obtain intelligence around trends, challenges, and case details.

  • Work with external vendors such as the patient hub and specialty pharmacy providers to manage data assets & ensure accurate and insightful reporting of information

  • When required, employ advanced modeling techniques to address key business questions and concerns.

  • Work with finance and the forecasting team assist in developing access based upside/downside scenarios

  • Prepare reports, uncovering insights and developing business recommendations based on data findings

  • Be seen as a complete expert in the area of access analytics and data. QA/QC data and report output to ensure accuracy

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical or Business Analytics

  • Experience working with specialty pharmacies and patient hubs a plus

  • Proficient in Excel/Access and good knowledge of Word, PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of either Tableau, or Alteryx

  • Ability to organize/analyze multiple data sources and events into a cohesive result through the utilization of various analytical tools and technologies. Experience in Data Prep tools (Alteryx a plus)

  • Experience in pharmaceutical data mining and analysis techniques

  • Formal statistical learning and/or experience a plus

  • Demonstrated analytical ability, with attention to detail, and systems aptitude

  • Strong organizational skills are required

  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels

  • Must be comfortable speaking in public

  • Strong sense of teamwork, a must

  • Demonstrate integrity, flexibility, and a strong work ethic

  • 20% travel as required
