Manager, Talent Acquisition: Pipeline Programs

The Manager, Talent Acquisition: Pipeline Programs will report to the Senior Manager, Pipeline Programs Lead. He/she will be headquarters based, and will provide university recruitment, social media, and branding support for the Talent Acquisition function. This individual will support the design and implementation of strategic campus and marketing programs, under the direction of the Senior Manager, and in coordination with the broader Talent Acquisition, and Global Communications Teams. He/she will aid with the execution/support of campus events and will run point on building and maintaining university and conference relationships. He/she will represent Talent Acquisition, on behalf of all social media and branding endeavors for the function, serving as a link between internal communications and external facing vendors.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition recruiters and coordinators to effectively document and manage the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding of pipeline program participants. Research university partnerships and find opportunities to brand and develop relationships to attract diverse and early in career talent to join Celgene.

Support the planning and coordination of activities for professional meetings, congresses, and local symposia and represent Celgene at these venues. Develop, execute, and manage recruitment marketing strategy including website design and management of ongoing content, recruitment campaigns, social media, recruitment collateral, events marketing and communication templates.

Pipeline Programs:

  • Support day-to-day management for all pipeline programs

  • Oversee junior programs such as STEM in the high school, undergraduate internship program and newly developed co-ops

  • Assist in tactical roll out for newly developed pipeline programs, supporting all aspects

  • Register and staff university events

  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure campus initiatives are bringing in the “right talent”

  • Manage expense tracking

  • Build and maintain robust metrics tracking

  • Document process and create necessary playbooks

Branding:

  • Collaborate with recruiters and coordinators on branding and marketing activities to ensure consistency, alignment, and all are “in the know”

  • Provide subject matter expertise by identifying collaboration opportunities to build Celgene’s reputation as the Employer of Choice

  • Manage advertising agency & platform partners through collaborations with internal communications and marketing

  • Help Celgene grow its social media activity through the appropriate highlight of Talent Acquisition news and events

The ideal candidate will have the following mix of professional and personal characteristics:

  • BA degree in HR Management Communications, Marketing or other liberal arts related field.

  • Experience in university recruitment or university relations setting with at least 5-7 related experience. Master’s degree holders with relevant industry experience may also apply.

  • Experience in program management or program building preferred.

  • Analytical skills and experience in providing insightful analytics.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms.

  • Ability to work well and excel within cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organization skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentations to small groups, facilitation of interactive discussions, and 1:1 discussions with stakeholders.

  • Some travel will be required (approx 15%)
